Employee Pets
Employee pets may come to work and be placed in a run or kennel when they are in need of medical services
Outside of medical services, employee pets need special permission to be kept at MAH during the day if the employee is working - special permission comes directly from the Practice Manager or Dr. Erica.
Employee pets may not spend excessive amounts of time outdoors, McDonough Animal Hospital is not a daycare facility and is not equipped to keep pets outdoors for long periods of time due to staffing constraints
Employee pets may board at no cost to the employee as long as there is not a school break or holiday during the boarding time
If our boarding facility is full of client pets due to school breaks or holidays, employees may still choose to board their pets for a fee of a 20% discount on current boarding prices. The code for this is under Employee Boarding (canine and feline).
