Employee Pets

  • Employee pets may come to work and be placed in a run or kennel when they are in need of medical services

  • Outside of medical services, employee pets need special permission to be kept at MAH during the day if the employee is working - special permission comes directly from the Practice Manager or Dr. Erica.

  • Employee pets may not spend excessive amounts of time outdoors, McDonough Animal Hospital is not a daycare facility and is not equipped to keep pets outdoors for long periods of time due to staffing constraints

  • Employee pets may board at no cost to the employee as long as there is not a school break or holiday during the boarding time

  • If our boarding facility is full of client pets due to school breaks or holidays, employees may still choose to board their pets for a fee of a 20% discount on current boarding prices. The code for this is under Employee Boarding (canine and feline).
