Medical Condition Records

  • Patient weight and TPR should be captured in the MCR for each pet that is seen in our hospital

  • The only exception is for pocket pets that are just in for nail trims, and pets that are only here for anal gland expression

  • If a pet is fractious, consult with the DVM assigned to the appointment to see how they would like you to proceed

  • Subjective notes should always be time stamped prior to entering information

  • Doctors shall write their notes in the records in CAPITAL LETTERS and initial at the end of their findings
