International Health Certificates

  • Erica is the only doctor authorized to complete health certificates

  • Verify the country's entrance requirements at iRegs for animal exports

  • Verify all documents are available to us during the appointment

  • Client should have already filled out the health certificate form online, if they did not, Reception will give them a copy of the form on paper - verify with client that all information provided is correct

  • All documents should be scanned in separately and labeled accordingly, including the finalized and signed health certificate

  • Log in to the VEHCS site using this link ; Erica's information should be saved on the computer

  • Upon logging in, click "New Certificate" on the left hand side of the page and follow the instructions, beginning with choosing the country of import

  • If you need to create a shipping label for the certificate, log in to the UPS website with our login information (username: mcdonoughah password: 123Jonesboro), create a new label and select the overnight option. Save the label as a PDF (select the print option and change the printer to Save As PDF) and you will attach it when prompted

  • EJO or ACA can give you their CC for payment when prompted - we load $38 onto the account unless otherwise stated. Copy the verbiage about the payment submission when the card is processed and paste it as a note under the USDA APHIS Electronic Filing Fee line item so we have record of payment

  • Verify all outgoing information is correct and click submit

  • After submission, copy and paste the paragraphs that follow regarding the information sent and the tracking number, paste as a note under the Health Certificate - International line item so we have record of submission and tracking number for the USDA.

  • Save all scanned in paperwork to the patient file

  • You may check the status of submission any time by going to VEHCS and clicking "View Certificates"
