Medications should be clearly labeled on a boarding sheet

Medications should be checked off for each administration on the boarding sheet

Medications should also be entered into the computer for each dose given under the AM, MidDay or PM medication codes

The appropriate way to enter medications in the computer is by placing your time stamp (CTRL+D) followed by medication, strength, dose administered and route (ex: metronidazole 500mg 1/2 tab PO)

Medications are stored according to pet name in the organizer on the treatment desk in the corresponding drawer for that letter
