Ultrasound and Echo Scheduling

If a doctor orders an ultrasound or echo for a patient, we call Lauren with Insight Veterinary Imaging

• Lauren is a mobile ultrasonographer - pets drop off according to when she will arrive (typically 8 am for a late morning ultrasound and noon for the afternoon)

• Lauren can be texted via PetDesk using the name Lauren Insight

• Always gather a few dates from the client at check out that work for them to drop off so you have that information for Lauren

• CCREC should look similar to this "Schedule Insight for ________ultrasound (or echo) - dates 5/18, 5/20 and 5/21" so that you have all of the information to give her (what are we imaging and when can they come in)

• Let Lauren know who is coming in (ex 5 y/o chihuahua) and what she's imaging (ultrasound for liver, etc), and when the clients can drop off

• She will let you know what works for her and you can schedule the drop-off with the client

• Make sure to update the CC as you go - detail when you have gotten in touch with Lauren and when the client is on the schedule - the CC can be posted out when the client is on the schedule and the CC has been updated appropriately.
