Boarding Exams and Vaccines

Boarding pets should be examined and vaccinated as soon as possible if they are due - within 24 hours of arrival. 

Make sure reception has noted in the account if a pet is due and if the owners have approved the cost - if they have not, you'll need to call the owner with an estimate and get verbal authorization. 

If a pet arrives prior to 4 pm, we can administer vaccines.  After that time, it's at the discretion of the doctor on staff. 

The whiteboard should be checked at lunch and prior to leaving to make sure all boarding pets are cared for appropriately
