Scanning & Attaching
We are a paperless facility, and each document that comes across our desk must be scanned in and attached to the patient or client file.Â
All attachments should be saved to Desktop and then moved to the Avimark server (be sure to name it something easy to find when you search, ie. pet first and last name records or something similar)
The Avimark server will be the folder that says Avimark with a green line on the bottom (the line resembles a green battery) - no particular folder, just drag and drop
Previous Pet History should be put under a line item for code PPH, dated to the year 2030, and the history should say which hospital it's from (Lake Dow, Specialists, Woodland, etc)
Financial Policy should be put under the line item for code FINPOLIC, dated to the year 2030, and marked with the year (Fluffy 2021) so we can make sure it's current (sometimes we have updates) - this should be on file for each client.
All bloodwork, ultrasound, and histo results should be placed under that line item (UGA histopathology, Echocardiography, ZN Labs, Minnesota Urolith Lab)
Any time you place a specialist consult, procedure or recheck; or diagnostic result, put a CC in for the corresponding doctor who saw the pet letting them know the results are in and where they are (example:"UGA results in under histopath line item")
