Pet Cremains Abandonment
There may be times when a pet, or their paw print, has been sitting on our shelf for 6+ months.
Call the client - record in a CC on the deceased pet's account that another attempt has been made to have the pet picked up.
If the client has been contacted multiple times and the pet is still here, DPC will dispose of them in a dignified manner.
If the client has not responded to the final call after 2 business days have elapsed, go to Paws-E-Track
Print off "Remains Release Form" under the Resources tab
Fill out and attach to the bag/box
Make a copy once signed by a DPC employee - this is done at pick up or drop off on Monday or Thursday
Attach to the deceased pet's file and update CC that pet has been returned to DCP
