Heartworm Treatment 

We have two protocols: the pet is treated for heartworm disease or the client declines treatment. 

• Each client opting for treatment should receive a heartworm treatment protocol printout that details what will happen over the course of treatment. Work with your doctor to determine dates to fill in on the sheet (this is located in the drawer of the pharmacy desk). It's also a good idea to send them an email with heartworm disease information, linked HERE  

• Below is the page that should be printed and filled out to be sent with the client, detailing dates of treatments.
